I Love you like an oak tree loves the ground.
I Love you like a singer loves sound.
And I love you like the ocean loves the sand
And I love you more than anybody can.
And it seems to me so foolish.
Just to argue on and on.
When the things we disagree on
We've agreed on for so long.
We all want freedom.
To live our lives the best we can.
Yes, and Harmony
Between ourselves and our fellow man.
And Peace and Understandin'.
Reach out and put your hand in mine.
And live this Life of Love for One another.
I miss you like a hobo misses home.
And I miss you like a quarry misses stone.
And I miss you like the rivers miss the sea.
And for what it's worth you're always part of me.
And it seems to me so foolish.
Just to argue on and on
And to waste the time we're given,
'Till the time we have is gone.
We all want happiness.
To live our lives with smiles and laughter.
And ecstasy,
To find the Truth that's what we're after.
And Peace and Understandin'.
Reach out and put your hand in mine.
And live this life
In Holy Love......for everybody.
