Sunshine Pourin' Out

Seems like such a long, long time ago.
I listened to the radio.
Playin' songs about the way things ought to be.
Then I practiced concentration.
Concentrate on meditation.
Tryin' to find the eye to make a blind man see.

Chorus:
And there's sunshine pourin' out
From behind the cloudy skies.
It's fillin' up a world that's turned so black.
And it's not just me, it's everybody, oh yeah.
You give a little lovin', You get a little lovin' right back.

Now we can love each other in the mornin'
We can love each other at night.
When we find ourselves in love with lovin'
Then we know everything's all right.
Smilin' on our brothers
In a way to let them see.
That there ain't nothin' gonna stop us being Free.

Repeat Chorus:
I been around this town such a long time,
Although it seems like a mighty short while.
To see a few people just understandin'.
Don't you know it makes a little boy smile.
Well now that you got the feelin'
Won't you let everybody know.
That there's no more waitin' Start celebratin' right now.

Because there's sunshine pourin' out
From behind the cloudy skies.
It's fillin' up a world that's turned so black.
And it's not just me, it's everybody, oh yeah.
You give a little lovin',
You get a little lovin' right back.
You give a little lovin',
You get a little lovin' right back.
Yeah you give a little lovin',
You get a little lovin' right back.
